Statement
In environments governed by rigid authority and systemic pressure, the individual is frequently forced to perform a scripted existence. Conformity becomes a quiet survival strategy, where stepping outside prescribed boundaries invites judgment, censorship, and silent erasure. This weight leaves deep psychological fractures, altering futures and demanding endurance in the dark.
This body of work translates the friction of living under constant surveillance and mechanical control into stark visual tension. Through contrasting temperatures, dramatic illumination, and intrusive industrial structures merging with the human form, these paintings capture the heavy cost of wearing a mask. They explore the fragile space between internal vulnerability and the overwhelming forces that seek to contain it, offering a space to reflect on the silent resilience of the spirit.
